Autodesk Labs: Project Khan Getting Started

 

 

Project Khan gives you the ability to optimize your 3D assets on the Autodesk cloud within Maya 2014 software. All you need to do is download the Project Khan Asset Optimization plug-in for Maya 2014, configure the optimization settings, execute the jobs on the Autodesk cloud, and download the optimized assets within Maya.
The Project Khan 3D asset optimization plug-in generates proxy assets and reduces mesh, texture, and rig complexities. The asset optimization process is efficient and requires minimal user intervention. You can execute multiple optimization jobs to generate multiple LODs of a single asset. You can preview the optimized assets, update the optimization settings, execute the optimization jobs, and download the assets
