The new plugin adds the ability to import native Solidworks parts and assemblies (*.sldprt, *.sldasm) up to the latest version SolidWorks 2010.

From the new Plugin menu that will appear in 3DS max after installing the plug-in, select SolidWorks importer and then Import SolidWorks file. Select the Solidworks file to import and in few seconds you should have the model added to your 3DS scene.
